BELIEFS & VALUES

What We Believe

At Main Street Church, we are committed to the Gospel of Jesus Christ as the foundation of our faith and practice. We believe the Bible is the ultimate authority, inspired by God and wholly trustworthy for guiding our lives. Central to our belief is the Fourfold Gospel, which proclaims Jesus as Savior, Sanctifier, Healer, and Coming King. This understanding shapes everything we do, from worship to outreach, as we seek to live out the good news of Christ’s love and redemption in our community and beyond.

Jesus died for our sins, offering us eternal life. We believe salvation comes only through faith in Him.

Jesus purifies and transforms us, enabling us to live holy lives as we grow in His likeness.

We trust in Jesus’ power to heal—physically, mentally, and spiritually—according to His will.

We eagerly await Jesus’ return, when He will establish His eternal kingdom and make all things new.

Our Values

Our values are rooted in the example of the Early Church in the book of Acts, where believers lived radically for Jesus, devoted to God, one another, and the mission of making Him known. Just as they shared life together, breaking bread, praying, and supporting one another, we believe there are no solo Christians—faith is meant to be lived out in community. We are called to walk together, growing in Christ, encouraging one another, and serving as a united body to fulfill His purposes in the world.

We believe in growing closer to Christ, being transformed by His Word, and discovering our unique God-given purpose. Personal growth means embracing the continual process of sanctification (Philippians 1:6).

As children of God, we are called to be a family, supporting and loving one another. Our community reflects Christ’s love in our relationships, ensuring no one walks alone (Romans 12:10).

The Bible is the living Word of God and the foundation of our faith. It guides our lives and helps us grow in our knowledge and understanding of God’s will (Psalm 119:105).

We are called to be a light in the world, bringing hope, love, and transformation to our local community. Our mission includes service projects, outreach programs, and community care (Acts 2:45-47).

Prayer is our lifeline to God. We believe that through prayer, we seek His will, find peace, and experience His presence in our lives (1 Thessalonians 5:17).

We are stewards of everything God gives us—our time, talents, and resources. We seek to use them wisely and for His glory, knowing we will be held accountable for how we manage what He entrusts to us (Matthew 6:19-21).

Following Jesus means stepping out in faith, trusting Him with the unknown, and embracing the adventure of a life surrendered to His purpose (Romans 8:28).
